Heaven’s Waiting Room

Our time here on earth for all of us should be time spent waiting for heaven. But it is not a passive wait. We are not sitting around on our butts waiting for time to pass, we are worshipping God and thanking Him for Jesus’ work to assure us a place. We are thankful, friends! And while we worship and live thankfully, we are growing closer in our relationship with God. Wow, what a magnificent thought! We are loved by Almighty God our Creator who is rich in love and kindness, goodness and gentleness, joy and peace, holiness and self-control. He who created the stars knows and loves and wants to be close to us. Wow! In such deep thankfulness and worship, we cannot help but radiate His love and good things and humbly serve others also. What better show of our gratitude? And this is our waiting room experience on earth, awaiting heaven with our precious Savior! How blessed we all are!❤❤❤

Revival Happens When Christians Serve and Worship Christ

Revival isn’t an event or miracle or occurrence to wait for. It is a direct result from Christians actually doing their job. Christians who serve and obey and worship make an impact on the world that is catchy, like turning on a light in a dark room. There is no mystery. It is our responsibility to be like Jesus for the world to see, starting with our own family and moving outward. ❤

All Christians Must Be Missions-Focused

People tune out to missions. We need desperately to change that. Starts with us. We should spend as much on missions as we do on our kids’ Christmas presents because spending on missions is giving a gift directly to Jesus and obeying His call to missions. And if it is not wise to go to the mission field just now, we can support national missionaries through https://www.gfa.org/ or other reputable missions organizations with like focus on supporting national missionaries. The Great Commission has never been changed or diminished in its command. You cannot be a Christian and not do something for missions to spread God’s love and salvation through Jesus. We need to also work to reach people for Jesus where we are. Saving of souls should be our priority, needs to be even more so now as the day of the rapture is closer than ever. We need to obey. People need Jesus so much.❤

Rocking the Church Boat

I love my church. However, I truly, from my heart, believe all churches are not right in the spiritual head though meaning so very well. There are many religious traditions and expectations that have no place in the Bible, where our example of how Jesus wants His church to be set up and carried out. I have no wish to offend and will not call out particular wrongs but rather wish to convey what God says to do (see Acts). 1. Those meeting together should meet in homes if possible. If they grow too much, then a larger place to gather must be found. However, monies collected are to help each other as there are needs and then in service to those outside the church to help them as they can. Nowhere in Scripture is a fancy church building supported. (They cost too much and the real work is not accomplished then.) 2. Believers read the Bible. 3. They sang and worshipped God together. 4. They prayed together and sometimes fasted. 5. They shared their faith with others around them. 6. There were elders and deacons and deaconesses serving in different roles of service to the church. That is it. No sermons even. Everything else is fluff, unnecessary, distracting, expensive, often with politics resembling the world more than the beautiful bride of Jesus Christ, His church. These are things to consider. This has been weighing on my mind for months and the closer I get to the Lord, the more it burns in my heart. I needed to voice it. And being written now, I would challenge a reformation and accompanying revival of the church to take place. Who is brave enough to go out in faith and get the church going as God designed? Change is difficult but always worth it, in my experience. I challenge every Christian. Who are we trying tog please? Us, the world, or God? Think on it and pray and see where God leads you. ❤
