There is a quandary about life. There is this law in physics that what goes up must come down. And I believe that carries over to be true in our lives also. We have highs and lows in life with varying extremes of each intermingled. One moment I was happy my parents moved to Florida and the next thing I know Daddy had a massive stroke and started a slow descent until he died, and while that was happening mom broke her hip and I instantly became caregiver to both parents while in two bands with practices, two kids to care for and homeschool, a husband unhappy with my frequent necessity to care for someone else’s household. Come to think of it, it is only the grace of God I survived at all. That was Really low. Then there are times like in an amazing relationship where you feel fully alive and happy and the best internally you have ever felt, where one kiss makes your whole body just glow, a huge up. And there are always ups and downs like this. No matter how you have managed to control everything and keep it calm to the public, there always dreamed ups and downs inside. We are comprised of a delicate yet durable blend of hormones and neurons and synaptic activity and glands and actions and reactions and chemical and magnetic and charged particles trying to stay balanced but sometimes needing not to be to work and so on. That is the physical and mechanical and emotional part of us. We also have a spiritual element that supercedes all of this. We have tugs and pulls of conscious, pride, moral conflicts, guilt, fatigue, wrestling against spiritual attacks, up moments of humble worship, down moments of losing battles with sin. There is no wonder we have ups and downs both physically, mentally and spiritually. The thing is that this all has a purpose. Sometimes it is to build our humility and dependence on God, sometimes it is to grow our flawed character into goodness, sometimes it is a test of character, sometimes it is to mature and deepen our wisdom or understanding. There is always a purpose for the ups and downs and to be truthful, some ups are as much a test as the downs. The key is to find the lesson or goodness, humbly acknowledge and correct yourself and move on with a teachable heart, “What’s next? Bring it on!” Then humbly pray. If you can stay humble the battle is half over before it starts. And God can take care of any and everything so stay close to Him, arming yourself with prayer and truth of God’s Word. And there you go, the recipe for success through the ups and downs of life. God and you got this!! No worries! ❤❤❤
1 John 1:1. “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4. We write this to make our joy complete. 5. This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 8. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
The alarm went off this morning to go out walking before the day got hot enough to be an excuse not to walk. Lol And it went off way too soon. Morning came way too soon. Now this morning, I had a little boost. My son wanted me to wake him to walk with me. So, knowing I had the company of someone I love who also doesn’t enjoy early mornings but also wants to be healthier, it was easier (still unpleasant but easier) to get up and go. Yes, misery loves company lol, but also there is a verse in Proverbs that says something like blessed is he who walks and someone is there to pick you up is you fall but woe to the person who falls and no one is there to pick them up. Now there are no mud pits or cliffs in my neighborhood, but it is easier to do life with someone you love, be it a spouse, a friend, family, a pet. There is someone to share and talk with, an accountability partner, a fun emphasizer, a helper or someone just to serve and consider. It is lovely. I had another friend who decided she didn’t need anyone but her kids. Well, that is a whole lot of pressure on her kids and people need to adult sometime. Lol We need people. We are responsible not created to live in a vacuum. God is very social and made us so. Morning comes too early but all unpleasant things are easier with help. Be a friend, make a friend. Love you!
2 John 1:5. “And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. 6. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.”
Our minds are a gift to us from God. We were lovingly created to have free thinking, free will, choices can be made and thank God we can act on the good ones here in our amazing recovering beautiful USA, where freedom still exists (other countries esp. for women unfortunately not so much). And our free thinking and free talking and freely independent (and hopefully informed with truth) thoughts are invaluable. So, when I declared as a young girl of 9 that I would become a doctor, I went to school and succeeded being salutatorian of my class, did well, finished working full time to pay for my own living/car expenses through college, finished with my doctorate and started my own succeasful n private practice. All in America. All from farming roots and little money. All with God’s help all my life. To God be the glory! So freedom to do good is an incredible right give to all by God. Freedom to do wrong should land you punishment by law. That would be justice. You see, freedom is a two way street. We can freely be saved by Jesus Christ or we can freely reject His salvation and be punished eternally. A wise person would use their freedom to choose life and love and eternity with God and life and love. But not everyone is wise, unfortunately. But the cool thing is that if anyone humbly asks God for wisdom and tries their best, God helps them and grants them wisdom. He is so generous with His grace! So, I choose to be on the winning side of right vs. wrong and you get to choose which eternity you want to end up in. Heaven or hell. Both are very real and very close. I choose heaven because I want to be with God, my Heavenly Father, and I sure hope you choose heaven too, sooner than later. I am really cool to hang out with so you can hang out with me 🙂 , and I am so eager to see Jesus and thank Him in person! It will be good to see those I love who have gone before me also. If God allows, I will play the piano for Him. I am positive God will have an amazingly tuned piano. 🙂 ❤
First off, I don’t believe we should ever just let anyone kill us. I believe people are brainwashed by their society and governmental leaders who wish you control them into the hate and condemnation and death religion of Islam in disguise as a religion of peace. Allah is actually a different god not the almighty in disguise who wants to destroy and uses hate and fear and intimidation to rule. However, and here it is, God made and loves dearly every single person of every single religion in the world. He lovingly made everyone on purpose. And God is loving and forgiving. In God, there is no condemnation at all for anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Savior. I love all people and want everyone saved, just like God does. No one is without hope of complete forgiveness of sin, loving relationship with God, hope of secure eternal life in Heaven and choice. No one is without a choice in their heart. Ask Jesus if He is real to speak to you and He will in a dream or vision or through a person. He is real and loving and ready to love and forgive unconditionally and adopt you as sons and daughters. You and so very loved! This is true for everyone! ❤
