Barking without Teeth

There are evil ones, meaning people who choose to allow the evil one to rule in their lives, who like to bark. They, in their puffed up pride, believing lies, enjoy some false superiority. The evil one may have bought and enticed them with money so they have a false sense of security. He may have enticed them with perversion so they believe perverted things are good and good things are naive or childish. He may enticed them with a false sense of control so they believe they can twist anyone else’s truth to believe the lies they fell for to lessen their guilt. These people that have chosen evil to be their god need never be feared. They bark, they bark, they bark but they have no teeth.

My Heavenly Father, in sharp contrast, speaks in a still, small voice, softly and tenderly, but He has teeth. My God is love, a passionate, active love force filled with truth and generosity and a consuming passion for justice and truth and love, what He made us to be for. Praisw God for being way bigger than the sum of all who would foolishly dare to rise against Him. Praise God for being full of mercy and grace or none of us would live. Praise God because only He is worthy of praise!!!

Picking Your Battles

If you fought every fight worth fighting, you would be exhausted, pretty beat up and frustrated at the same battles up on the docket for the next day all over again. Some are the definition of futility, meant to distract and frustrate. So, I pick my battles. And here is my criteria… “Is this eternally valuable?” That is it. With my kids, is it eternally valuable that I need to step in and intervene or teach or correct. With my husband, is it eternally valuable or just my pride revving up? I only approach the eternally valuable argument where I am allowed and pray for the rest. In every area of life, I am reserving energy for eternally valuable battles. That does not mean I do not fight for what is right or stand up for Jesus, it means I focus on staying in close relationship with Him and allow Him to lead me to the eternally valuable fights with His strength. This assures I am not exhausted but always ready to fight and have God with me as I do so. I believe we are responsible for what we devote our energy toward and will answer for misspent energy expentitures. Some fights are definitely worth it but not every fight is. Choose the eternally valuable battles and stay close to Jesus in constant prayer and sometimes fasting and that is the best we can do. ❤

Falling vs Fighting to Win Any Battle

Being humble is the key to winning every single battle. And allow me to clarify. Being humble is in no way, shape or form the same thing as being weak. It is being so very powerful, using every ounce of strength enough to fall before the Ultra-Powerful God of the universe and admit you need help and ask Him for it. Then He fights for you and He wins for you any possible battle ever. And the shame is that most people will not allow God to prove this truth in their lives. They prideful want to cling to each battle and keep it going for years and keep trying or running (addiction fantasies) for years, getting depressed or beat down or bitter or ruined. The winning is so simple if you choose it but it requires taking off the pride and clothing with humility and falling before God. So simple. So true. So beautiful. Worth a go, truly. It works. My life attests to this truth.❤

Divisiveness is Evil

God unites. His enemies divide. “United we stand!” Is truth. As is “Divided we fall”. The enemy, the evil forces of this world, all evil is united in its front to divide all of us. Evil wants division so all countries and their people are destroyed and they can rule. But I have a secret. God is still in charge. And if God’s sleeping children wake up and start praying and return to God, the division will not be successful and God will heal this land. God restores and unites. God heals and loves. We should be tired of playing into the hand of the destructive forces around us who around much weaker and damaging than we ever realized. God is all powerful and love, the Creator who builds. His side is the aide to rally toward. Truth and love need promotion on every level. We are called to that. It is a command. Proclaim truth and show live everywhere we go. We must do this today, right now. Pray. Our unity depends upon it. Truth and love must be promoted to yield hope. God will do it if we humbly pray. We must.
