Luke 16:10-12

Luke 16:10 Whoever can be trusted with a little can also be trusted with a lot, and whoever is dishonest with a little is dishonest with a lot. 11 If you cannot be trusted with worldly riches, then who will trust you with true riches? 12 And if you cannot be trusted with things that belong to someone else, who will give you things of your own?

Day 3- Cleaning the Widow’s Home

I believe today was my last day cleaning the widow’s home. I accomplished my goal to create a clean pathway into her front door all the way to the kitchen or her bedroom. This means the roaches that were everywhere have been killed, the dog poop that coated the floors has been removed, floors mopped with bleach, at least a hundred boxes flattened for recycling, pathway cleared, and I am finished. I also consulted with her guardian that she is in need of a thorough professional cleaning crew, meals on wheels, a visiting nurse or companion regularly, her dog treated by the vet, and best case scenario sell her home and move into an assistive living facility. I believe that is what she needs for her life. I helped get the ball rolling and made cleaning look possible, providing hope.

Helping can become enabling easily. Tough love means you tell the truth lovingly and do not let lies make life unlivable for all involved. True love does what is best for the person.

I am thankful to God for getting me through it. Praise God for the opportunity to serve Him. Blessed be the name of the Lord!!😃❤
