Psalm 24

Psalm 24:1. “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; 2. for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. 3. Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? 4. The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. 5. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. 6. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. 7. Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 8. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. 9. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory.”

Hebrews 1:1-3

Hebrews 1:1. “In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2. but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”

Titus 3:1-11

Titus 3:1. “Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2. to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone. 3. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5. he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6. whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7. so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8. This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. 9. But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. 10. Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. 11. You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.”
