Fasting Prayers

I will be praying and fasting tomorrow. I implore any of you friends who really love the Lord to join me. And if you cannot fast for some reason, please pray with me during meal times. So we are on the same page, my prayers will be:

1. Please purify my soul and my family’s soul and wash us clean by the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ. Please forgive our sins and renew our strength and purity with the Holy Spirit so we may be in your presence and pray and fast today.

2. The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6), with emphasis on “Please, dear Lord, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

3. Please may God’s prayer warriors be strengthened and focused to pray and fast for your good to triumph over the enemies’ evil.

4. Please protect and strengthen our President Trump and all those officials doing good and please give them wisdom, knowledge, understanding and favor with You and man. May those who have done evil to be caught and prosecuted and be found guilty and punished to the fullest extent of the law. Please allow this to change their hearts to repentance and salvation.

5. Please help our country defund and abolish abortion and injustice so you will forgive and bless our country as a whole.

6. Please allow people to be released from their addictions to tech and social media/phones and pleasure addictions which have become their idols. Please release and help them so they are ready when you come soon for your church.

7. Please purify your church and strengthen her to prayer and fasting and worship together. Destroy the evil within her and cast out demons who have infiltrated. Help your church to remember her job of missions, winning souls for your kingdom, worshipping You. Please help and strengthen and bless Your persecuted church around the world.

8. Please save as many as you can from the clutches of Satan and soften their hearts to Jesus Christ as their Lord for their eternal soul’s sake.

9. Please strengthen and heal my friends and family for prayer and prepare their hearts and souls for your coming.

10. Please keep the demons and evil ones who have chosen to worship them from being effective in the evil they want to do. Stop their plans, dear Lord, and protect us. May all the evil plans come to ruin and be hindered and useless and may You, Lord, and Your angels win every battle.

11. We love and pray for Israel. We pray for her peace and that the Jews will realize that Jesus is their Messiah and be saved. Praise be the God of Israel. Please bless her.

12. We worship you, dear Jesus. We give you praise, honor due you and adore your glory. You are worthy of all our love and adoration and worship. You are holy and true.

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, amen.❤❤❤

Failing and Beginning Again

I trip.

I stumble.

I fall.

I lay there a while.

I realize I am laying there looking stupid.

I pray humbly for help for I cannot feel my arms.

Jesus lifts me up n out of the dirt yet again.

I try hard not to stumble again.

This time I ask Jesus for help.

I do better.

Regardless, I am saved by loving grace from Jesus.

I just want to please my Lord.

I keep praying and move on.

Jesus is so good!❤❤❤

Not Falling for It

By nature, I am naive. I think with a purity of thought, raised to be honest. I expect everyone to be also, always seeing the best in people. It is not long in this world before you realize the best in people is their choice and many do not choose goodness and their best but decide to choose their worst. Psychologists (of which my mom is one) explain everyone’s choice away as the fault of their environment or parental relationships. And I have to tell you, that us a load of crap. Life is not fair, things happen to everyone. No one is alone in suffering. But certainly, unequivocally, without any doubt or lie, whether you choose to be your best, which is a honest and loved-by-God servant of almighty God or a dishonest and ironically still loved-by-God servant of self/satan/pride, IT IS YOUR CHOICE. No one wants you to be bad. No n one can make you bad against your will. That is always your choice. The beauty is that being good doing good, returning to God is always your choice too. He has always been one humble prayer away. And returning to Him is always one humble prayer back. So simple. So many lies for so long and so many distractions provide the illusion of confusion, chaos, despair, complications. They don’t exist excepting your mind full of lies. Accept the simple truth of Christ Jesus who longs to be your Savior and give you peace and joy and lavish blessings and forgiveness on you. ❤

Back on the Horse

I fell off the my horse yesterday. Here is what I learned.

If you fall for a minute, brush off the dirt, mend the wounds, ask forgiveness, and get back on the horse. Falling off is inevitable in a fallen world. Staying off is a choice. Get back up there and ride. The horse will understand. The Trainer will forgive and help you. If it is muddy out, be more diligent and listen better, obey better, serve better. Use the horse to help serve more. Don’t choose to stay in the mud after a fall. Thr mud is no life. Get back on the horse. Don’t focus on thr mud beneath you, focus on the destination, the road and the Trainer.

Count on the Trainer’s wisdom and advice from the Training Manual and His Words and follow it again. Never fall off the same way again. Do your best to stay on the horse. Be humbled but not humiliated and learn from it. The Trainer will help you.❤

Church Reform

I am a long-time, experienced, well read (Bible college and 44 years of church going and reading the Bible straight through about 9 times now, and fast and pray regularly), and always will follow and love God first and foremost. Saying this, I believe strongly that the church, more than any other entity in America needs reform first and foremost. Christians love to blame society, the devil, evil, politicians, their toothbrush, whoever they can rather than take responsibility for their own spiritual shortcomings and changing to be more like God designed and spelled out clearly in the Bible.

We need God’s powerful love and grace to transform our hearts back to His design rather than selfishly and pridefully serving ourselves.

We need to life up the name of Jesus rather than our own names.

We need to serve God with our talents freely rather than sell merchandise.

We need to encourage others rather than judge or use them.

We need to serve rather than showboat.

We need to provide for orphans and widows rather than exorbitant buildings and salaries.

We need humility and responsibility rather than prideful egos and blame.

We need to worship together, fast and pray, read the Bible and have communion together rather than promote our good ideas and comfort.

We need less comfort and more service, less division and more unity.

All this starts with us. It starts with me. It starts with each and every Christian reading this and doing something about it. It requires repentence from taking personal responsibility to humbly fast and pray and start being the change. Then we would see revival worldwide that surpasses all comprehension.❤

Meeting Imperfections with Humility

I am far from perfect. I strive for being purified by God. I am way too realistic to strive for perfection. I understand full well that is impossible with me. Not because I am bad but because I am human. I strive to live to please God and be purified by Jesus. That is it. That makes me look not perfect but restored. I still have the scuffs and dings and scars but I am a restored, refurbished work of God.

Today, I blew it and again need restoration. Thankfully, God is in the business of detail work. I became angry at a leader in the church, an intern, actually. I said true but inappropriate things about him to a coworker in the kids ministry. I should not have. My anger was just and things are not being handled appropriately, but that is no excuse for me to vent and blow my cool, which I certainly did. True or not, gossip is wrong. Very wrong. I blew it. I saddened my God and I am fully sorry. I said my apologies and prayed my confession and apology and am now in the restoration shop of God again for some detail work.

The thing is, none of us is perfect. I handle my screw ups/sins way better than I used to, however, and I am thankful to God for that. He helped me meet my imperfections with humility rather than pride. The imperfections almost always originate from pride, so to meet them with humility is the cure. It is the step of repentence back. Humility is beautiful. And anyone who says humility is for sissies has never tried it. It requires far more bravery and strength and energy than base pride. But the results are restorative and glorious.

So I wanted to share that and maybe it can help someone too. God is so very good and full of grace and generous with forgiveness. Praise be the Lord!!!❤❤❤

Lamentations 5:21

Lamentations 5:21. “Restore us to yourself, Lord, that we may return; renew our days as of old”

Why an entire book on weeping for consequences of a nation’s sin? Because weeping is a necessary step toward repentence and repentence restores our relationship with God. So before a nation that has been neglectful of their God can return to Him, they must first be sorry that they screwed up. Thus Lamentations exists to emphasize that very important point. It is a call to knees. A sorrowful acknowledgment of wrong. And even though it has this mournful purpose, wrought with years of devastation and misery, it has these beautiful pockets of hope in God, of restoration, of hope for the future. They are sandwiched in the weeping so are easily overlooked, but what a great example of the beauty of God and that sorrow may last for a night but joy comes in the morning. We all must mourn and be sorry so we can make it right and restore our relationship with God. Then, what a beautiful world we would live in!❤
