Blite (early in this case) is this horrible disease my tomato and blackberry bushes acquired from the incessant 3 week rain we had last month. It comes from the dirt splashing up on the plants and is a fungus that eat leaves when the plant can’t dry out. It sucks because it is a death sentence to the leaves but is slow to kill it. The treatment is removal of effected leaves and spray with a baking soda mixture to prevent spreading to good leaves. One tomato plant could not be saved but the other is now thriving again and jury us still up on the blackberry plant. We shall see. But the blite comes on as a few black spots then the outer edge turns black then curls and the death spreads to the next leaf. That is the slow death. The fruit is not effected but the leaves die so there is no nutrition to the fruit and it dies too. Now, I realize we are talking tomato plant here, but how like sin and lies that is for us. Sin and it’s accompanying lies are like blite for us. Sin cannot damage our fruit, our service to God but He can suffocate us with distractions and guilt and sin and lies until our fruit dies from a lack of spiritual nutrition and health. But what we need to remember is that hope is never gone. The Holy Spirit is the cure, the baking soda mixture we need to overcome. God prunes from our lives the dead parts sin caused and spreads medicine on us to cause what remains to thrive even better than before. God has all power and that certainly includes Jesus’ power over sin/blite. All we need to to receive that power and healing is humbly ask Him for it and stop doing n the sin. How awesome is that?!😄❤
The word “love” is powerful.
It means different things to different wings
Backs decisions to fight or hold
Never deviates in its true form.
When coming from God, it never dies
Though people have a different view.
But the word when said dries tears
There is comfort in the word
For we all want it’s true form.
We all want pure, true, Neverending
We all want powerful security
We all want someone to value us
We all want honor, peace and respect
We all need love.
Oh the power of one word.
Oh the power of God who is perfect love.❤
You know, as long as you you aren’t in the habit of over-using words, words have amazing power. Our thoughts and ideas matter and what we say and how we say it, especially when being shared with someone else wanting to converse, hold such enormous power. A conversation can change perspectives, soften hearts, harden them or share ideas meaningfully. It all depends how it is used. A good conversation is time well spent and never underestimate its potential. That is why prayer is so powerful, why relationships can be better, why perspectives can change. These conversations are vital and necessary to growth. Always make room and time for a good conversation. Always beneficial. ❤
A “spot of tea” is much different than a “cup of tea”, although they are the same thing. And “the horse running through the field” is much different than “the golden stallion with flowing black mane galloping through the ripened wheat field” although they describe the same event. Words have such power amend those who learn to master them set themselves apart from “authors” as “literary artistic geniuses”. And the words can not convey robust meaning without information and wisdom coinciding. To know nothing about a topic and speak big words is to be a fake journalist or dimwitted thesaurus reader. It is the proper application of descriptive and correct oratory that yields eloquent verbose which has the power to move hardened hearts, impress intellectuals, stir nations to or from war or intrigue minds and eyes to partake of such literary works of art. Words have power. They are important. They matter. This is why the Bible is still relevant, powerful, pervasive, artistic… it’s Author is the most knowledgeable and expressive Being in the universe, God Himself. His Words matter most for He matters most.❤
