When Bad Things Happen

Some people want bad things to happen. I used to think this was ridiculous but I see it. Always focused on the bad or in a constant hunt for it and focus on anything remotely unpleasant and blowing that into significance are all ways they prove this. Some people do not want n peace and prove it these ways. They want war and ugly and bad things because that is matches what is going on inside of them or they are used to it.

Instead of that, in direct opporition to it, if we embrace Christ, He gives peace and joy inside to all you to desire and work for good things. We have control of this and we do much greater even than that by yielding control to Jesus who is bivgerhan any bad habit or bad thing.

Focusing on God and accepting His love allows us to make good choices, which put any resulting bad thing into proper perspective, which is, eternally – speaking, insignificance. Choose today. You are stronger than you think (with God) and have the power to choose. 😄❤

Many Hats Powered by One God

I wear many hats.

I am Christian, wife, mother, friend, grandmother, teacher, Sunday School teacher, church pianist, caretaker times three, band member/co-leader, neighbor, singer/songwriter doctor, PE coach, cleaner, dog owner, babysitter, driver, blogger, author/writer, encourager, promoter, prayer warrior.

Those are a lot of hats. I was exhausted writing those down.

How do I do it all and stay sane (most of the time)?

One Person gives me strength every single day, every moment of the day, loving me through every step…. God.

God is my Heavenly Father and in our loving relationship as Father and adopted daughter, He cares for me. God is not a construct and terrifying judge (although He will judge people who reject Jesus Christ as Messiah and Lord of their life). God is Father through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. As Father He can lavish love and power on us. As Father, He gives me new energy and strength every single moment. He is such a good Father.

And that is my big secret. Many hats, one God. ❤❤❤

Positive Vibes Are Not Enough

Tons of people have feel good messages. Positive vibes. Positive thinking. Feel good emotions. Happy thoughts. Calm vibrations.

That is nice sometimes for an emotional boost but is not enough. It has to go deeper. It just has to. It is physics… the dark world surrounding us is heavier and bigger than all that emotional hype. It is stronger. So we have to go deeper to be stronger than what is all around us. Simple math. (The old math not the new nonsense math to make our kids stupid, but I digress.)

We need Jesus’ resurrection power from the Father via the Holy Spirit.

Nothing is deeper than the God of the universe injecting His power, wisdom, love, confidence/faith, hope, etc. into us. And no force anywhere in the entire universe is greater than that.

So encouragement is nice but is insufficient unless dripping with the Holy Spirit. We need God. Bottom line. And we need Him desperately and eternally.❤❤❤

Introspection’s Power

The push of humanism disguised as psychological and spiritual truths is that self-awareness and introspection and self-thought in of itself is noble and a high goal. As if we created ourselves and that would be a moment of greatness. That is a dangerous lie really. The power of introspection is only when a filter of the Bible is applied. Searching your heart and knowing yourself better is only noble and powerfully strong and good is when we are evaluating whether we are focusing on and serving God and others for God and to please Him. Checking ourselves that we are obeying the Bible and humbly praying every step of the way is true power because of God and not us. God rewards obedience. Focusing on God and humble prayer is obedience.❤
