God pours grace into us. He lets it flow freely. It is our means of salvation, offered as a precious gift as soon as we accept Jesus as our Savior. It is not earned or we could provide our own salvation and we can not. It is not up in the air, our room in heaven is secured, certain, guaranteed. The work we do in life to worship God and serve others is not to earn anything but to show thanks for the free gift n of grace and salvation God gave us. We need to be grateful for it because that is the right response when we have been given so valuable a gift freely of eternal life with our Creator. Grace is that important and enormous. It is an extension of God’s love for us and is motivated by it. All we have to do is truly accept it. And the correct response is gratitude, which is our motivation to worship, love, and serve others and share the gift.❤
I have to share a story. There was once recently a damaged person who misunderstood comments and actions of people who did not understand that person’s damage or misunderstanding. The damaged one became very upset and lashed out on those who did not know what they had done wrong.
And all could have ended there and relationships severed and permanent hurt on both sides. In fact, this story plays itself out every day all over the world.
However, those ignorant innocents who were lashed out against did not lash back or cry or talk bad about or get upset or what not. No, they prayed, we prayed. We prayed together hand in hand. Then I prayed alone on my knees on my bed also. We and I prayed for wisdom, understanding, help, peace, and joy.
Then I took a deep breath and talked to the offended and immediately received insight and wisdom and knew what to do. I put on my humble and apologized for disrespectful words out of my mouth that triggered the damage and thus created the misunderstanding. And I was met with an immediate change from angry opposition to melted heart before my eyes. I met hostility with peace from God through His answer to my prayer. This prayer’s answer was drenched with grace. God had answered and helped us all. He worked it all out. We conversed and have mended and bonded closer with empathy and understanding.
And friends, God will help you also every time you humbly talk to Him. I am proof. He loves you and I do too.❤
God is fair. I hear people say He is not, but they just do not understand. God has unlimited power, more than the best imagination on earth can fathom. And yet He made a plan and wrote it down for us in the Bible so we all know what it is. We know from that Bible what God’s will is, what His plan is, how it will happen, what we need to do to be saved and what will happen next. That is extraordinarily fair. He made a plan, wrote it down for us, gave us the plan, and is following the plan. You cannot get more fair than that. Everyone is on the same page as far as having the knowledge about and chance to be saved. We all know. So God is more than fair unequivocally.
People use the fairness argument s a cop out and to blame God for wanting us to worship Him rather than ourselves or the drug of their choice. People are selfish and want what they want, this myopic view that robs them. They believe the lie that obedience is oppressive when in fact, it frees us to joy and peace but doing whatever we want leads to sadness and depression.
God made us and all of us inside wants Him. God is the only One who can satisfy. And He loved us enough to be very fair and make a plan, write it down in the Bible, get it to us and follow the plan. And He goes above and beyond fairness to grace by helping us follow His plan whenever we ask. He loves us that much!!❤❤❤
The enemy, either within or without, whispers lies upon lies and pushes the notion into our heads that forgiveness hurts or is difficult while not forgiving is much more painful than that. Forgiving actually frees us. We are free when we forgive, especially when we forgive ourselves. How can this be? It is because forgiveness is a result of obedience to God and a full disclosure of truth (also God) and both of these set us free and heal completely. We are not animals that need to be punished, we are precious children of God 2ho need to forgive and be forgiven. Sin has its own consequences and repentance after forgiveness is the key to God’s sin eraser in thr heavenly realm. Consequences of sin need not imprison any of us, regardless of what we have done and truth/confession and forgiveness/repentance are they key to that. True confession and obedient forgiveness and repentance are not suggestions but requirements for grace of eternal forgiveness from God. He knows this will heal us and He really wants us all healthy and in relationship with Himself because He loves us so much. Give it up and let it go. It is time. ❤
So, a few good things happened today. I bleached then washed and scrubbed the windows and will re-caulk them once they have dried. Cracks have developed and one coat is not enough in Florida, folks. Also, we are insulating our electrical outlets that are on outside walls. We are insulating thr sliding patio doors and adding a new threshold to our front door and complete the replacement of our lights to LEDs. And whenever they get around to it, the installers will be here of a new solar turbo attic fan to reduce the power use and strain of the air conditioner to work. All these things are paying for themselves in no time at all and will complete our home to an energy efficient one. And that to me is the grace of God at work. He provides blessings to lift n our burdens- spiritual first and then that trickles down to financial and physical. And I want you to know that God provides what we need when we need it if we stay close to Him and stay humble. He truly rewards the pure in heart with the greatest rewards. I would be ok with heaven sometimes, an eternity with Him. But His grace and provision do not ever stop, know no bounds. He keeps loving, keeps giving, keeps blessing, keeps forgiving, keeps improving us. Wish everyone could see it, wish everyone could be filled with humility and draw close to Jesus and see it all. It is beautiful! Oh how I love Him.❤
