Revival will happen when we focus on and emulate Jesus Christ. As we worship and lift Him up with the power of His Holy Spirit, we correct the proper balance to the world He made. It is supposed to be that way. We were made by Him for Him and not the other way around. And He is so worthy of praise is He! God is magnificent, full of power and majesty, grace and generosity, love and holiness, truth and faithfulness. No one is like Him and no one can stand before Him without permission, even His worst enemy. Praise God and focus on Jesus in your home, in your church, in your small group or Sunday school, in your workplace, in school, wherever. As we lift up Jesus, He will draw all men to Himself and heal with love and pour grace and peace and joy into our souls and spirits. That with humility is the key to peace, joy, delicious life and correct function.😄❤❤❤
I found out tonight a woman of God I had admired quit her church because someone in leadership had sinned in the past. Really? This was difficult because I had thought she was mature in the faith, being older than my mom. Turns out older and mature in the faith do not necessarily go hand in hand, because judging is a big problem when you are not sinless. And isn’t a sin confessed and repented of nonexistent after the consequences had already been paid? So, I will yet again withdraw sincere and determined admiration for any human being and take them with a grain of salt. I will focus on Jesus, who has never let me down, and quite the contrary always has been there for me and perfectly so. There is a reason and now I again remember why God says to trust in God and not man. God cannot fail, never changes character, always is perfect, always loves us/me, and is worth our worship and attention. Let us focus on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.❤❤❤
My 8 1/2 year old daughter had a dream two nights ago. She told me she dreamed the best dream, a rapture dream. I asked what it was like. She simply said, “It was so happy, because there was bombs and chaos and bad stuff going on and all of a sudden Jesus took us to heaven. It was beautiful.” The beauty of heaven must have overshadowed the chaos that happened just before because she did not mention how dark or scary it was before, just that Jesus took us to heaven. The saving part and heaven was all she saw of it and it gave her happy thoughts the rest of the day. And she has been on great behavior looking forward to that day.
Maybe we need to focus on our salvation and promise of heaven more and stop paying so much attention to the negativity. Maybe we will draw closer to Jesus and not be overwhelmed by the bad stuff that will happen. Expect it but rest in Jesus, who is way bigger.❤❤❤
In life, we can count our woes and regrets or we can count our joys and blessings. This is our choice. Always, this choice is our freedom to make. Right now even. And we are always being pushed to the first option by an enemy that wants us dead. We are presented with many other grumblers, more bad things, gossips with other people’s bad stuff, etc. While this remains, it is still truth that we choose what to focus on, what lens we will choose to see life through. We can be coerced but it stands always that the final decision how life is going is ours alone. My decision is mine. Yours is yours. And I choose to see myself as a bit spoiled by God, living in America the free and brave, able to go to church, able to play piano, living in an air conditioned home with my family, having a car to drive, playing baseball with my kids, teaching them school, having a doctorate, mist importantly being saved from my sins by Jesus Christ my Savior, etc. I am more than a bit spoiled. And I choose to be blessed and see the truth of every blessing and joy God has lovingly seen fit to provide me. Everyone has a different lot in life. I could have been born to an impoverished large third world family with no Bible, a cardboard home and little opportunity to improve. Many possible positions and situations for me to live in were possible. Yet, He smiled on me with filtered running water, electeicity, a yard to plant a garden in, a dog, sewing skills, etc. I am so very blessed! I am spoiled by my Heavenly Father. And this is how we need to see the world.😄❤
It is impossible not to trip when looking behind you. Just a reminder, focus on the present and goal ahead. You will get there. Don’t let the wrong focus make you fumble. God is worth more than a half-hearted journey.❤❤❤
New Age crap sounds good. It will even temporarily make you feel good, great even. The truth about it is that it focuses you on yourself, the opposite focus we should have, which is on God. It is directly opposing God. It is in fact replacing Him OR putting Him in a box inside us, as in we are powerful, we are gods, we are worthy of all our attention and pampering.
Let me be clear, we should love and care for ourselves and work to improve, but that is what we should do for others too AND God should always get center stage, top billing, all the praise, adoration and honor.
God lovingly and with great care and thought and wisdom created every single thing, animal, person we know of in this universe. He is the boss of it. That is true no matter what you believe, feel, want, campaign for, like, love, whatever.
So instead of all that narcissistic self-improvement crap and blather, try some reading your Bible and praying to and worshipping God. He is worthy, we are not.❤❤❤
I have always been an ambitious person, full of energy and life and a go-getter, a natural leader and delegated worker who tirelessly gets things done with a smile. I inherited all that from my excellent daddy. Just how I am cut.
Through the many years I have been alive, my ambitions have changed. And here is my highest ambition of all time, the greatest accomplishment of greatest worth, what I am desperately working on within myself… staying humble in spirit.
Once mastered, humbleness of soul and spirit allows a flow through of God. Not because we are so strong but because we are weak and know we need Him and then He is so so so strong through us. This is the highest goal, no greater goal exists. Humble spirit has the deepest relationship with God because it is the most honest. God is everything and we are very little in light of eternity in this vast universe. That is truth. ❤
