Faith vs. Trust

Faith is being told the road continues straight in a foreign country by a guide you trust but you cannot see it because of a thick fog that morning.

Trust is taking the steps on the unseen road into the deep fog straight ahead to get where you want to go.

You have faith your guide will not lead you off a cliff. You prove it by trusting him enough to take that step.😄❤

Reminder That God Answers Humble, Faith-Filled Prayers

Just wanted to remind you, in this extraordinarily distracting and busy world, that God is still in control and always answers humble, faith-filled prayers. That has not ever changed because He does not change, His faithful, loving character dictates this. God hears you. He knows you by name and how many hairs are on your head (or legs if hair on the head is sparse lol) in a given moment. We must remember through the distractions and cares and worries and busy-ness that fact, that truth. Pray and believe it. Pray that God will send the cold front faster so Dorian turns sooner to do less damage. Then believe He will do it. And pray believing and with humbleness and a right, purified-by-Jesus mind and He will answer that prayer. This is how He works and it is an excellent example. Works in any circumstance. He wants us to remember, have faith and be humble. The God who has upheld and protected the great, beautiful state of Israel, still upholds us also. He is so very good and His grace, love and mercy are very generous to us who pray. Remember that always and get praying for this Dorian situation and any needs you have. Be saved, humble and have faith and God will answer. Every time this is true. He loves us so much!❤

Questions About My Faith

Q: Why do you trust in God?

A: Because He has proved Himself faithful, trustworthy and truthful to His Word, the Bible.

Q: Why is He worthy of so much praise, worship and focus?

A: Because He made everything we know about, even you and I, and still loves us amazingly.

Q: What makes you so adamant that you are right about God?

A: 1. If you look objectively at the world, those who obey Him are blessed measurably. 2. His nature proves it in its glory and perpetuity. 3. The Bible has never been proven incorrect in any point despite much effort to try. 4. God has fulfilled every prophecy up to the end times prophecies, which will be fulfilled very soon.

Q: Aren’t there many ways to God and therefore heaven?

A: The only way is through the grace and acceptance of Jesus Christ as our sinless sacrifice and baptism of water and Spirit. The only way is Jesus.

Q: How do you know?

A: The Bible said it and Jesus Christ said it and again, it has been proven very reliably to be the truth.

Q: Do you ever doubt?

A: No.

Q: Why not?

A: Because my own life is a testament to the truth of it all. When I obeyed the Bible and stayed close to Jesus through prayer, Bible reading and obedience, God blessed and provided for me and molded me into a humble and therefore useful follower of Christ. And He gives me such a peace and joy and sense of loving family andfulfillment/contentment that I have never experienced apart from Him.😄❤

Humble is the Goal

The world strokes you. They stroke you to sell stuff or to n push their agenda- money and power. They play on your pride that is our natural weakness. People want to be stroked. They want to feel important and valid and respected in this chaotic world. Pride pushes us to fight for what we want. Pride reinforces selfishness. It encourages self-thought and self-service. The opposite of pride out of control is being humble. Humble is the key to peace, joy, happiness, fulfillment because it is the proper way to be. It is putting yourself in the proper scope and frame of reference, knowing who you are in the world and who God is. We are not God, not even close on our best day or even best hour. When we realize God is all powerful and we are only important at all because He says we are and loves us (difficult to fathom) unconditionally, we get it. Then we can do what we can out of love and gratitude for Him and let Him do the rest because He can and will do what is best for everyone. We can rest in that, see? Like a child having faith, we can do that with God and then are under His eternal protection and salvation. It is that simple and beautiful! Praise God! ❤ ❤ ❤

Faith

Having faith involves trust, risk and works.

Trust is believing God tells us the truth in the Bible no matter what else is going on. We trust God will do what He says and is who He says.

Risk is the not knowing how God is working in the background and it may be very different than you imagine. Yes, we risk getting into something uncomfortable when we obey and trust God. God is still in control and we have to trust again.

Faith without works is dead. Stepping out in faith is an action. You cannot step while sitting on your butt. Faith in God is getting out there.

Faith involves trust, risk and works. And I venture that discipline or self-control, humility and ownership also play an integral role in living a life of faith.

And a close prayer life and relationship with God will makeup for any little weakness we possess naturally. That is the key to everything in life really. Simple truth.❤

Faith & Healing

Facts/Truth:

1. God can do absolutely anything He wants to do.

2. He will not do anything against His character or Word.

3. God’s ways are higher than ours and He sees the past, present and future all at once and lives in them all because He is not bound by time like we are.

4. God is the Great Physician because He knows us better than anyone because He lovingly made us.

5. Faith releases His healing n in our lives.

6. (Here is the difficult one:) Sometimes He heals differently than we want but it is always for His and our best.

7. Healing can be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual but God always heals the way you truly need it best at the moment you humbly pray for healing.

8. You may still have the physical impairment because He needs you to know He is enough for you and you have not learned that yet or so you may help others.

9. God always wants and works for what is best for His work and you.

10. Trust is faith that God has healed you in the way you need it and that He is in loving charge of you.❤

Why Does it Have to Be a Door or a Window We Go Through?

Without questioning it before, I have heard “When God closes the door, look for a window.” And I used to think that was good advice. Now, I see it as very faith-simple. Why, with the Lord, do we have to even have an opening to go through? We only have to believe in God and His plan big enough and humbly pray to that end and He will certainly provide whatever way He knows is best to accomplish the task. To limit God’s power to a pre-made opening is either too tiny in the faith department, not believing the Bible’s truth that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), ignorance of either or a lack of contrition/humility. God can do absolutely anything and needs nothing but faith and a humble and earnest request to accomplish it as long as it glorifies Himself and He is in agreement. That is faith. That we don’t need an opening, just faith and humble prayer. ❤
