Doing Nothing is Doing Something

Do what you can for God and others out of love to God. When you do nothing, you actually do something: you disobey. James is pretty clear that faith without action (serving others, helping others, participating in church, lovingly helping your family, etc.) is dead. If your faith in God is viable, you will be doing something for Him and His church.😃❤️

Faith

When I need to lose weight, I ask a healthy person for advise. When I need help with my car, I will ask a mechnic. When I need help with menopause, I ask older women who went through it for advice. You go to the source.

Likewise, if we need the truth, we go to the Bible. I was going to share aspects of my strongest spiritual gift with you, that of faith, but I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to point you to Scripture instead. Sometimes plans have to change.

He rews 11 in the Bible is considered the “faith chapter”. It is especially important now to study faith and ask God to build it up. Faith, according to Hebrews 11 and the rest of the Bible is humble obedience in God as you trust Him with your life. Faith is trust in action. We prove our trust in God by living out our faith. And the importance of this cannot be overstated because we are made right with God by faith in Him and His Son. It is the only way.❤

Thr Opposite of Fear is Faith

When our fear is ramped, our eyes are on us, guaranteed. When our faith in God is ramped, our humble focus is on God, guaranteed. You cannot operate deep in faith in God and still be unable to function due to fear. It is impossible. Faith and focus on God is love and that drives fear away. There is no room for fear when you are operating in faith in God. It is impossible and you are not being truthful if you say otherwise. And we cannot overcome a lie with another lie, we must call it as it is and then we can fix it with humble faith and focus on God and be set free from fear. Knowing and admitting is half the battle. The second half is deciding to trust (act out your faith in) God and focus on Him.❤

Faith vs. Trust

Faith is being told the road continues straight in a foreign country by a guide you trust but you cannot see it because of a thick fog that morning.

Trust is taking the steps on the unseen road into the deep fog straight ahead to get where you want to go.

You have faith your guide will not lead you off a cliff. You prove it by trusting him enough to take that step.😄❤
