Growing up on a farm in a small town in Michigan, I may have worked hard but I loved every minute of it for I breathed fresh air. I loved the air. Oh how I loved the freedom of running through the fields with the dog, just breathing it in. Freedom. Air. Belting out songs of praise to God for it all. Very little is better than that combination. And on rainy days, we had an amazing upright grand piano I could play to my heart’s content. Oh how I miss playing a piano! And this city life is for the birds. If it were my fecision, we would move to a small cottage on a farm or with a lot of land away from all these people and restore my upright piano so I can play again. That would be amazing. Driving down a country road you pretty much have to yourself is just shy of perfection. Air. Freedom. Piano. Country. Praising God. This to me is what heaven looks like. This is what brings me most to life. God is so good to have given me such a glorious taste of it! He knows what He is doing all the time.❤❤❤
Lamentations 5:21. “Restore us to yourself, Lord, that we may return; renew our days as of old”
Why an entire book on weeping for consequences of a nation’s sin? Because weeping is a necessary step toward repentence and repentence restores our relationship with God. So before a nation that has been neglectful of their God can return to Him, they must first be sorry that they screwed up. Thus Lamentations exists to emphasize that very important point. It is a call to knees. A sorrowful acknowledgment of wrong. And even though it has this mournful purpose, wrought with years of devastation and misery, it has these beautiful pockets of hope in God, of restoration, of hope for the future. They are sandwiched in the weeping so are easily overlooked, but what a great example of the beauty of God and that sorrow may last for a night but joy comes in the morning. We all must mourn and be sorry so we can make it right and restore our relationship with God. Then, what a beautiful world we would live in!❤
My daddy was a Marine for 6 years for America.
Many great men and women serve our America.
I am proud of our country and will stand and show respect for America.
We have not been perfect but have been knit together in America.
Our good President and his good staff are working for America.
Some of Congress and some of the Senate are working for America.
Few in Hollywood or mainstream media are working for America.
Those who do not stand out of respect for our country should not be paid American dollars or stay in America.
Fewer big monopoly owners are working for America.
But God still loves our America.
And if we start acting like Americans, we will again be a great America.
And if we deny the rights of divisive and destructive anti-American people, we will strengthen America.
And we will lead in generosity and love in America.
And what we do will rebuild a Christian America.
And my heart beats for God, for family and for America!❤
Our family has together faced death of loved ones, rejection, people coming and maybe even loving us then leaving without a trace, wonderful vacations, difficult illnesses, good times, bad times. And no matter what, we are united and together. We are family. Unity matters. I want the same for our country. Only evil people or ignorant ones would not want that. Not everyone in our family always agrees, we often hurt each other, mostly without meaning to, but we often encourage each other and always love each other and stay together. United we stand and divided we fall. Catchy and very true. True for family. True for country. I love both. God bless us all. Keep praying. ❤
Love is a whole, a unity, a common purpose for the benefit of everyone and for God. That sounds utopian or cheesy but it is true. How do I know? Because God is love and He is whole, united, purposeful and beneficial. Love is also good. So it is good to be whole, united, purposeful and beneficial for everyone and God. And this is always true, so it is true for countries, marriages, relationships, communities, churches. So what divides? Well, anything, even things that look good, that diminishes the importance of destroys the unity, whole, purpose, benefit for everyone and God. Pretty basic and simple, I think. Who would want to divide? Someone who pridefully wants their benefit to outshine everyone’s benefit is one. Distractions of entertainment or tech or social media or gossip or other distractions that draw you from the purpose and unity. The enemy of love or God is another. People who glorify their ideas above truth, whether because of mental problems or their own philosophies’ importance to them. The thing is truth is truth. And because love is good and whole and united and purposeful and beneficial to everyone for God, these thing provide what love provides, which is peace and joy and hope and self control and gentleness and faithfulness. It is beautiful when it works well. Thing that can divide marriages are lies, prideful self gratifications separate from your spouse, disrespect by treating yourself as more important than the feelings of your spouse, or arguments about money or raising children, etc. Things that can divide church are lies, marital division, denominations, gossip, traditions, dogma, false accusations, disagreements and personality clashes, or distractions, etc. Things that can divide countries are lies, separate government parties, misrepresentation, damaging media (more lies), false accusations, injustice, glorification of hate and evil, church division, marital division, etc. So there is a lot of work the enemy is putting in to dividing our marriages/families, church and country. But as damaging and successful as it seems that is, the cure is actually much much much stronger. Love is the answer. Being good and loving to each other is the start. Being united and whole and purposeful and beneficial to each other for God is the outcome. Overcome evil with the much stronger force of good. God, the most powerful and smart and loving force in the entire universe is on the side of good, love, unity, purpose. Choose to be good and kind and respectful in every relationship of your life, starting with your spouse then children then church then country. It is a choice. It is worth every effort you put into it. We cannot change anyone but we can change ourselves. We can love! Everything starts there.
United we stand and divided we fall. There are usurpers among us disguised as sheep in wools clothing, puppets in a very expensive game who would divide us if they could and steal from us what we worked hard for. I am not a brainwashed puppet, I am a free thinking American who loves God. I am now praying for America, specifically the America that believes in God and wishes to remain so. All of us must pray. And further,we must remain united and dismiss these childish bickering and proud selfish embellishments and all realize there are serious things going on that threaten us and our lives as we know them. We can play their game or we can unite and pray fervently and fast together over these serious matters and beg God to protect us all and restore our hearts to Him as a country. Our lives and our children’s may very well depend upon it. “If Myy people (God is speaking about His people) will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” We must unite in prayer and fasting for our country and do it together, as a united front. We must choose a day, ideally October 30th, 2016. Who is with me let him and her join me in prayer and fasting on October 30th of this year for our country to be protected and healed by God. I will be doing that. Many have given their lives. I will give my day.
My 4 year old daughter’s newest thing that doesn’t make sense to me must stem from our garage sales. We have had three in her lifetime to sell off what they have outgrown and get pocket money for school crafts. Apparently, the selling of things made quite an impact in her life. So, her newest thing is to speak of “not selling” people in her life she likes and “selling” people who may be on her bad side that moment. So, I will get compliments like, “Mom, I love you. I don’t want to sell you.” Or in angry moments of her big brother not letting her destroy his valuable toy, she will pull me aside and say reverently “Mom, brother was mean to me. I think we should sell him.” Of course we had a huge theological discussion on the value of people and all kinds of things on a four year old level. But the point is that some people remain in toddler discard mode when something doesn’t suit them. Instead of putting in sometimes very little work or a few conversations, people will pout and give up and discard the person as they would rubbish and go about their own business like they are the only ones in the world who matter. And quite frankly, I am to the point where I call out this behavior and stand up for the integrity of life. There is of course the u born babies who may be discarded and murdered because they are sent to the world at an inopportune time or in an inopportune way. There is the school “nerd” who just doesn’t fit the “popular” mold and is bullied and discarded and discounted, the brunt of jokes. And there is the brilliant yet vulnerable young woman who was taken in by a man claiming to love her who abandons and discards her when he finds someone cuter or more vulnerable. And there is the good, decent American who stands for what is right and works honestly who is discarded as a pawn to line the pockets of the wealthy and powerful. Enough is enough. Why do we tolerate these people’s behavior. I have stood against many a bully and one thing I know about bullies is that they are all cowards, every one of them. They will fly or run if confronted. They will cower and lie if questioned. They will shudder if checked. They need to shudder for they are wrong. They should cower as they have made others cower who chose fear rather than confrontation. They should run out of town, out of America. People should unite and band together and take back our lives and country. Yes, prayer and fasting is step one but faith without works is dead.
