Finished Reading a Book!

Thanks be to God! I actually was able to squeeze in reading an entire book!! That was alongside teaching and working and the band and family needs and wants and reading my Bible and birthdays and so on! An entire book! I am so thankful to God who has taught me to use every moment for the best and provided more usable time for me than I thought possible. Praise God!😄❤📚

June 12

“Let me help you get through this day. There are many possible paths to travel between your getting up in the morning ad your l u in down at night. Stay alert to the many choice – points along the way, being continually aware of my presence. You will get through this day one way or the other. One way is to moan and groan, stumbling along with shuffling feet. This n will get you to the end of the day eventually, but there is a better way. You can choose to walk with me along the path of peace, leaving on me as much as you need. There will still be difficulties along the way, but you can face them confidently in my strength. Thank me for each problem you encounter, and watch to see how I transform trials into blessings.”❤

From August 2:

“Bring Me thr sacrifice of your time: a most precious commodity. In this action-addicted world, few of My children take time to sit quietly in My presence. But for those who do, blessings flow like streams of living water. I, thr One from whom all blessings flow, am also blessed by our time together. This is a deep mystery; do not try to fathom it. Instead, glorify Me by delighting in Me. Enjoy Me now and forever!”❤

“Come to Me continually. I am meant to be the center of your consciousness, the anchor of your soul. Your mind will wander from Me, but the question is how far will you allow it to wander. An anchor on a short rope lets a boat drift only slightly before the taut line tugs the boat back toward the center. Similarly, as you drift away from Me, My Spirit within you gives a tug, prompting you to return to Me. As you become increasingly attuned to My presence, the length of rope on your soul’s anchor is shortened. You wander only a short distance before feeling that inner tug- telling you to return to your true center in Me.” ❤

“Seek to live in My love, which covers a multitude of sins: both yours and others’. Wear My love like a cloak of light, covering you from head to toe. Have no fear, for perfect love decimates fear. Look at other people through lenses of love; see them from My perspective. This is how you walk in the light, and it pleases Me.

I want My body of believers to be radiant with the light of My presence. How I grieve when pockets of darkness increasingly dim the love-light. Return to Me, your first love! Gaze at Me in the splendor of holiness, and My live will once again envelop you in light.” ❤

July 23

“I am the light of the world. Men crawl through their lives cursing the darkness, but all the while I am shining brightly. I desire each of My followers to be a light-bearer. The Holy Spirit who lives in you can shine from your face, making Me visible to people around you. Ask My Spirit to live through you as you wend your way through this day. Hold My hand in joyful trust, for I never leave your side. The light of My presence is shining upon you. Brighten up the world by reflecting who I am. ~ John 8:12; Matthew 5:14-16; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Exodus 3:14”

Excerpt from “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young

From May 7:

“If you learn to trust me– really trust me– with your whole being, then nothing can separate you from my peace. Everything you endure can be put in good use by allowing it to train you in trusting me. This is how you foil the works of evil, growing in grace through the very adversity that was meant to harm you. Joseph was a prime example of this divine reversal, declaring to his brothers, ‘You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.’

“Do not fear what this day, or any day, may bring your way. Consentrate on trusting me and on doing what needs to be done. Relax in my sovereignty, remembering that I go before you, as well as with you, into each day. Fear no evil, for I can bring good out of every situation you will ever encounter.” (From Isaiah 26:4; Genesis 50:20 NASB; Psalm 23:4)❤
