Busy Days & Bad News

When we are busiest, it seems we are made busier with bad news. My friend’s son was in a car accident, nothing broken and not critical but sore and hospitalized for observation. And of course I want to be there for her and would were my commitments not so pressing today and tomorrow. But this is how the devil worka, y’all. When working hard, he attacks. So please pray for special comfort for her and healing for him and I place them soundly in God’s hands and must keep moving. God bless us all. ❤

Compelled to Pray

Several times this month, I have been compelled to wake up or stay up and pray for my husband. I believe there is a strong spiritual war waged against him mostly but through him the family. Tonight I am still up and just finished praying for him at 3am, so I believe this counts as a sleep fast. I am giving up precious sleep because my husband needs prayer. I believe the enemy attacks men most, as they are the head of the family. I will not go down without a fight and I fight the very best way… humble, fervent prayer. I pray this way for my family and country and lost souls. But lately Satan is going for the jugular and attacking families left and right and focusing on the man. It is horrible and I will not have it. Every time I am awaken by the Holy Spirit that my husband is under attack or willingly putting himself in harm’s way, I will continue to rise up and do a sleep fast and pray. I will trust God for energy tomorrow or rest in heaven when I get there. A woman’s gotta do what and woman’s gotta do. And this woman will pray.❤

Mounting Misery

Now, I believe this mounting misery I and so many of my friends/family are experiencing are spiritual attacks in origin. I believe the enemy is grasping to destroy as many people as possible because his time is short and Jesus’ return and reign is soon. So bad guys are ramping up their game, the enemy is attacking harder, people’s spiritual decisions become more apparent. The problem with this is that we feel it. It is very real for us, not some intangible idea but a very real things are horrible sometimes kind of thing. Sometimes seems unbearable and I cry a lot. Yes, this tower of encouragement and strength weeps like a little girl at the despair, loneliness, attacks, ugliness around me, problems other people are having. It is very hard. So I wanted to encourage you to remember that things are real yes but are guided and orchestrated by a demon or principality of darkness and evil. Willing people are often used by these evil beings as pawns but our fight is truly a spiritual one. So we must fight together and help and lift each other up and band together using our most powerful spiritual weapons: contrition, salvation, prayer, worship, drawing close to God, Bible reading and fellowship. That is it. Problem is the same as the day of the first sin just is more escalated now. Message and solution are the same simple message and solution as ever also. We got this. Do not lose hope or stop fighting. Be strong andolutionnd courageous. Do not be afraid. God has overcome already. Remember that and cling to Him and His promises. I am right here with you and God sure is too. Love you! God is good!!❤❤❤

On Attacks and Defense

All bullies are cowards. My daddy (the Marine) taught me that. He was right. He was always right because he never said anything unless he was sure he was right. When people attack, they are bullies and cowards. And there are one of three reasons: 1. they were brought up and/or treated that way, 2. they have pride issues and feel they need to feel more important by putting someone down or 3. they are really punks because they have been coddled and never disciplined and think they can do whatever they want. All of these categories boil down to the fact that regardless of why, they choose to attack. They choose aggression. Remember that. To defend yourself is the choice you must meet them with or the cycle continues. I have always done this and always prevented or curtailed or punished an attack. One time I was blindsided because it was an old boyfriend who had never acted that way before. Once I realized, it was too late but I took care of him after. I still stood up, still fought. Someone attacks you, turning the other cheek is the right thing to do but before you turn it, make sure your firearm is in hand. Rolling over and taking it empowers them to do it again, to you or your loved ones or other people. Bully cowards will keep attacking once they get away with it the first time, once they choose that behavior and level of cowardice. Defence is being a good steward of your body, God’s space to live in you. They chose to put their bodies in harm’s way by attacking, you must refuse to let them get away with imposing harm upon you or those in your care around you. The right thing is to stand against an attacker. Let no one tell you otherwise. Seems like an awful lot of people nowadays are getting away with an awful lot lately here and abroad. Fight back, people. We have arms for defence of ourselves and families. This is on purpose. There are bad people that should be relieved of their right to impose badness on everyone else. Who better to defend themselves than those who would be attacked. Do not let these lunatics free to attack. Stand against this evil. The day you let evil in, it does not stop until ruination. Do not reason with evil, stand against it with solid arms and a soft voice of truth. “Speak softly and carry a big stick” or equivalent you are comfortable with is still very good advice. Just my momentary thought after watching the news.

Enemy Attacks

When you are doing anything for the Lord, the enemy attacks. His first attack is personal and often involves the immediate family. Evil loves destroying families and ruining homes and us. Sometimes it is subtle jabs and criticisms that make people feel unappreciated. Sometimes evil induces family squabbles and majors on minor things to begin fights and stir up animosity and doubts and anger. Sometimes it is more blatant like hormonal imbalances and mood swings as well as temper flare ups and the like. Our families are always vulnerable to the enemies’ attacks because they mean the most to us and hurt us the deepest when disrupted. Sometimes the enemy drudges up wrongs or sins or criticisms of the past that had been forgiven and forgotten for a while and allows them to dig in and weaken us. Other times the enemy brings up something brand new like a false accusation or outsider or even friend all of a sudden saying something hurtful or abandoning you or whatever. You get the idea. Probably experienced one or all of those as some point which had one redeeming value. It reinforces the fact that you aster a threat to the enemy. He sees potential for God in you, sees God’s reflection in you, sees potential in your family and feels threatened. Good news: all bullies (even spiritual ones) are cowards. God is bigger and has already won and nd when you remind these vile creatures of that, they have to go. Of course cowards come back when they feel safer but if you keep standing on God’s truth against them, they have to go again. So take these cowardly attacks as compliments that you are on the right track with God. The enemy won’t try so hard with whom he has already. (Cowards are pretty lazy too.) And keep in Truth and prayer to fight the enemy. And know God always loves you/us and fights alongside. I am never alone and neither are you. Love you!
