Victory Loves Preparation

My question for you this Monday morning, what are you willing to give up, so you may prepare yourself for victory? I am inviting you this day to read and meditate on Joshua’s book and see what God did for Israel’s nation. At some stage, as I was studying the book, I felt like the battle was unfair for their enemies. The children of Israel did not fight any battles; God did. He ambushed their enemies and gave them victory. The children of Israel were only required to praise God and continue to meditate on His word. That serves as an invitation for us this day. God calls us to spend time in His word, to prepare for victory through meditation on His Word. The Word of God is powerful, living and active, sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing to the division of spirit and soul, of marrow and joints, and is the discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the hearts. Everything is laid bare under the word of God. Heb.4:12
