Point of View Change

As we mature, we change our views about things. This should happen. Maturity should bring less pride, less selfishness, less judgementalism, less self-gratification, more humility, more service, better stewardship, more positive memories cherished. If these things are not happening, maturity is not taking place.

You can get old and never mature. Likewise, you can mature very young. What makes the difference? Choice does. God does this maturity growth in us as we chose to let Him and devote our lives to maturing and being valuable, “a very useful engine”, as Thomas the Train puts it.

We are not put on this planet to be worshipped and admired and waited on and taken care of. Nope. We are here to serve, to work, to worship God. And there will be a time soon we will wish we had done more for Him. I want to do more now because I want to please Him more than me. That is the key.😄❤
