Arguing with a Fool

I had a debate of sorts with a self-proclaimed “atheist” over the last few days. I have a real problem with people claiming that there is no God. In claiming such, aren’t you making yourself god? But I digress. I corrected a truth on a fellow blogger. He had stated something ambiguously, and I didn’t want anyone confused, so I corrected the truth to be more plain. Then this angry “atheist” (what do they have to be angry about anyway if they are their own gods? lol) attacked me with the Bible not being true and prophecies not panning out, Yada yadda, and I simply responded gently and calmly with truth, always at peace in my spirit. Day after day he attacked again, and with a smile and peace I answered with truth. Tiring of the game, I told him I loved him because God made him and loves him and that I would pray for his salvation and goodbye. I did pray many times for the man. I believe those most opposed to God and specifically Jesus are the closest to Him without realizing because they are fighting tooth and nail with great angst and fervor for God, who is true, not to be true. They are thinking about God all the time, some even obsessed, but just haven’t quite decided truth is truth yet, still comfortable in their lies. But we have an innate moral consciousness, all of us. We can be brainwashed since birth and kept from truth and God and still know He exists and that there is a right and wrong. And our own complexity and that of sustained creation (well, until lately because it is the end times) proves God’s existence and presence here. And thr Bible, despite what lies have been said, has never ever been proven false and it’s prophecies have all been fulfilled except the handful that are going to be fulfilled soon. But arguing with a fool makes you a fool, so presenting truth in love is the only option to plant a seed or water one and who knows what God will do to help their hearts turn to truth. Would be pretty cool if he were saved. I want everyone to be saved. But I thank God for salvation and Jesus for providing the way, truth and life for all who accept Him. What an amazing God I love and serve!❤❤❤
