Kids Choir Songs

We chose 2 songs for our kids to sing a capella and with words memorized for church Christmas Eve morning. “Joseph”, “Mary” and “Baby (doll) Jesus” will be two of the oldest kids who will stand in the center and the kids will be on either side of them. The first song is “Happy Birthday, Jesus” and right into “Mary, Did You Know?”. These two are slowing songs but singing a capella can speed it up a bit and impress. And the kids are taking turns singing little solos in the first two stanzas of each verse. I am super excited arena so very proud of my kids! We practiced with live microphones yesterday and the kids did great. The key is instruction. And here is a big tip for anyone working with kids… they want to learn and respect intelligent information taught them. Never assume they just want to play or are dumb or won’t care. The opposite is true, I assure you. Case in point: one teacher talks babyish and uses little words and the kids act accordingly. I speak respectfully but use my normal, big word vocabulary and teach them new things and I have their undivided attention. You are welcome.😄❤
