On Burning Bridges

“Always cross the river before you insult the crocodile.” I will add that you may have a return journey that you are neglecting to consider. It is a very tiny world we live in now. So small that we do run into each other now and again. It cannot be helped. And it seems the people we run into the most are the people we least want to see. The reason is purposeful, God wants you to forgive and make things right and absolutely loves restoration. God is a God of opportunity giving. He is so generous with opportunities to improve, grow, change, grow up, forgive, etc. There is no situation too u comfortable for you to sway Him from His goal of your improvement. In fact, God knows the more the struggle so etimes, the greater impact of the lesson. Yaknow, He has been around quite a long time. So, in light of that truth, please be careful the bridges you try to burn. That river will need to be crossed some day and you will wish to Pete you had not burned it. Remaking a bridge that has been destroyed is so much more difficult than repairing and refortifying the existing bridge. God forgives, though, every single time. People only door God is truly with them. (If they constantly or every once in a while bring it back up, they have not truly forgiven you.) We must be careful not to lose or misspend the opportunities we are given.
